RELATIONSHIP AND COUPLES THERAPY
Humans are wired for connection, and it's devastating when we feel disconnected from the person/people we love the most. Relationship/couples therapy focuses on understanding and shifting the cycles we get stuck in so we can experience the connection we long for.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
When we heal ourselves, we give that gift not only to ourselves but also to those we love. I have significant experience working with people who have experienced interpersonal/attachment trauma and ongoing stress, and the ways in which that impacts our relationship with self and others.
SPECIALIZED TRAUMA THERAPY
When we have experiences (both chronic and acute) that overwhelm our ability to cope, or experience "too much, too fast," our bodies may be left on high-alert. I am an EMDRIA certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, which is highly effective in helping the body heal from these experiences in a gentle, compassionate way so that we don't feel stuck in survival mode all the time.
